Like most writers, my writing ritual includes music. For me, I have a playlist that I listen to LOUDLY and on repeat. It helps me get back into the characters and the tone of the book whenever I write. Normally, I like 80s rock, show tunes and alternative rock, but when I write YA, I like to listen to moody, angsty music. Nothing makes me feel more like a teenager again than when I listen to really emotional music. (sorry mom)
